Bond Street

Our art collecting client purchased a home in an iconic Herzog & de Meuron building on Bond Street. Intended as a pied-à-terre to host guests and friends and to allow him to rotate his art collection, he needed long wall expanses and generous floor space. The flooring had very specific needs and finishes for an informal gallery space, and by using 18” wide Dinesen floor planks, in some cases 20’ long, they provide the perfect platform for sculpture and lend a soft non-invasive backdrop to the art. The bespoke hardware throughout is by H. Theophile Architectural Hardware in selected textures and finishes to express a simple language.
