S. DONADIC, INC. is a leading Construction Management firm known for creating magnificent homes. Located in New York City, Long Island, and upstate New York, they have completed hundreds of projects with their seasoned project management teams and elite artisans. What began as a one-man millwork operation by Steve Donadic in 1975 has since grown under the leadership of his son, Johnny Donadic, offering white glove construction management, general contracting, and service and maintenance programs. Operating from New York City’s premier architectural millwork facility, Donadic Millworks provides the space to produce, store, and ship every component of a project efficiently and safely.

For the past 50 years, we have been honored by our exceptional reputation and growth in the construction industry. From Steve’s humble beginnings as apprentice to master craftsman in Croatia, to his mariner’s adventuresome spirit that brought him to New York City, he represents the arc of character and determination that grounds the firm’s principles: take on what’s difficult, thrive on the hard work that inspires creative solutions, and always honor the craft. Benjamin Fisher, Vice President, embodies this charisma and dedication in his forward-thinking management style that has made our growth possible.

Johnny S. Donadic
Trained as an architect, Johnny has been passionate about building high-end residential homes from a very young age, apprenticing under his father and learning the art of fine craftsmanship. After graduating from architecture school, he designed for several top-tier New York City architects, absorbing the symbiotic relationship between vision and built reality. Understanding that building a good home takes more than just a name, he returned to the family business to grow the company into an industry powerhouse with a proven track record of quality execution and nimbleness. A deep understanding of the New York City residential landscape is in his blood.

As principal, Johnny has boundless energy and a passion for the inherent artistry of the business. He continually strives for excellence through hands-on involvement in all aspects of a project to ensure the outstanding customer service and quality for which Donadic is known.
